"The Skeg" and "The Machina" was presented at the IAA MOBILITY 2025 and have gotten unpresedented positive social media coverage you can see that these concepts truly resonates to the real MINI fans out there:)

Sometimes stars aligns, new and old technologies creates disruptors in a field. Stellar Jet is a true pioneer as the craft combines Vertical take-off and landing similar to a helicopter with horizontal flight properties of a private jet this in combination with the hydrogen powertrain delivers unseen range/spec and leavs the rest of the V-tol industry in its infancy.

Its an honor to be part the creation of Stellar Jet and help create a vision for future vtol aviation with the President and CEO Alexey Popov.

First welcoming in the journey is an illuminated quarter circle that completes itself to a full moon by the floor and window reflections. The Moon animates and sets the mood for a wonderful evening.

THE CLOUD By KÄFER

Redesign of former 2-star restaurant "EssZimmer" located in BMW Welt Munich. The new restaurant "THE CLOUD by Käfer" is a true experience in fine dining and as a guest you will experience "Culinary Nomadism" as chef Jens Madsen and his team travel the world for inspiration and gourmet spices that they later combines with high end local produced ingredients.

-"We wanted the guest to experience a journey from the first arrival. By designing super signs along the way of the evening."

BIOPHILIC BAR, SLIM BAR

Two sculptural bars milled out of single block of pink sandstone. Offers a display of herbs and spices from the teams culinary travels.

HEART OF RESTAURANT

The Cloud
The icon of the restaurant this lightweight sculpture was cocreated with fashion designers from the famous textile producer Schlaepfer. Surrounding projectors illuminate and bring the cloud to life with particle-artwork from Oscar Zabala.

The Monolith
A center piece in the restaurant where the plateing is taking place. This 6m sculpture out black marbled stone serves as extended part of the kitchen bringing the art closer to the guest.

Prism Kitchen
Transparent and reflective glass panels create a prism part of the kitchen that can be viewed from inside the restaurant.

RYDER CUP

FLYING TROPHY CASE RYDER CUP

-Not often you get to raise the Ryder Cup trophy in your own hands, something just a few of us golfers have had the pleasure to do:)

This was a thrilling project spinning out of the BMW electrified wingsuit developed together with Peter Salzmann. A joy to get to know Peter and his task was now to deliver the presious Trophy for the 43 Ryder Cup attached to his chess flying down towards the crowd.

Challenge here was to create a case protecting the trophy while meeting all saftey aspects. The result is a stunning lightweight 3D printed tech-sculpture in champange color that opens up as a butterfly.

Enough said now back to the driving range...

BMW X6

-The BMW X6 is truly a pioneer, a creater of its own class with roots going back to the X-coupe concept car 2001.

When starting sketching on the 2nd generation X6 back in 2010 it was important to keep some of the unmistakenly X6 features / The fast Coupe roof line / The powerful stands etc. Tried to focus on the muscular and emotional surfacing of the car but it was also a clear goal to mature the vehicle and create a real premium product.
2015, five years later my first car was launched at big event in Spartanburg USA, honor to work with so many talented designers and engineers on this project under the lead of Adrian van Hooydonk.

ZEYDON Z60

-A 60foot Luxury Sailing Yacht with visual BMW DNA.

This project started not long after I have joined the BMW Group and Designworks. At this time Chris Bangle was leading BMW Design, must say Chris passion and energetic positiv vibe has been a pleasure to work for over the years. After a meeting between Chris, DW and the owner of Vanhool busses, a new project was born!

The result had to be bold stand out from the rest and express BMW Formlanguage which at the time was the famous "Flaming Surfacing". We used a flamed light catching surface in the hull to break up the visual height and a concave roof of the deckhouse itself to serve as a seat when the yacht is on a heel.

Truly an inspiring project to work on and to sail a boat you been part of creating is a special experience.

We helped Takata develop a strategy around these key principles Innovation/Comfort/Safety. This model is equipped with a fully swivel upper part for easy entry as well as build in safety features and a soft cloudlike textiles with cooling features. All based around the AIRPAD impact technology

A rail study into how to use the premium "railroads areas" the best as we go into new infrastructure challenges. Our solution Siemens ANTS is based on a swarm intelligence and builds around small units of customizable pods. Project with great potential!

BAVARIA YACHTS CRUISER 45

-It was a great journey designing motor and sailboats for Bavaria Yachts. To work with the talented naval engineers at Farr Design creating great value with low production costs was a special challenge. Must say the Cruiser 45 as depicted here with a dual helm setup is the model when the hull and proportions start to work together the best, this yacht offers great space and easy access to the sea.
