INFORMATION MISCELLANEOUS

Maja is a fin driven underwater craft
Maja is a conceptual fin driven underwater craft, that explores the field of transportation design with new innovative ways of traveling. Maja is a visionary project that shows a high level of aesthetic and technical aspects that could suit your publication as complement to the traditional designs published.
The design intent has been that form, shape and function must come together in an absolute result. The target market for Maja are people who are in search of a unique experience. Maneuvering the craft is accomplished with the use of fins that are powered by a pneumatic air system. This propulsion system moves the craft in a very graceful manner, imitating the surrounding marine life. The idea is that the craft would not disturb the marine life with noisy propellers and fast speeds that could damage sea life. The craft should offer a peaceful environment for the user. It should be enlightening as well as relaxing to explore the underwater sea world with this craft. The world’s oceans are suffering from environmental problems and it is important to expose people to this fragile underwater ecology.
