Nikon D0X is a Concept on how a future SLR camera could function and look like. The O comes from the circular symetric body that like an Ipad can be used instatly at any angle. The Circular image format will be cropped to users whish 21:9 16:9 3:4 etc on the large touchscreeen interface. The ergonomic of the ring shaped body alows multiple gripzoons and also works as shook protection for the body a true field camera.

Same way as various lenses capture different width depending on specification of the lense ..

NIKKOR 0x could be a lense that starts at 16mm or so and offer a range up to 500mm not in a traditional way of zooming but by cropping the original view so that resolution is sacrified but not the quality.

What makes it difficult to compare the human eye with a camera is that the eye is working in sync with the brain before the person get the perseption of an image. post autofocus, post blender, post exposure, pre records the whole time so when image taken also the moments before is captured

Built in Noise reduciton, Lense correction, White Balance. As a basic setting the image should look like it did for the eye at the moment the photo was taken.
